What is Scrip?
Scrip is an everyday gift certificate from stores and restaurants we all shop at. SSDS buys these gift certificates at a discount price from a distributor and then resells them to our families at face value. The difference is money earned for our school. It's simple!
No need to buy anything different or sell anything to your families or neighbors. Use Scrips like cash. Shop with Scrip for all your everyday purchases and gift giving, we all profit!
A sample of gift certificates, percentage earned for the school, and cards we will be keeping in stock is on the monthly specials. Buying gas with Scrip is convenient and there's no credit card or ATM fee. Save on postage by mailing Scrips instead of a bulky gifts. Great for birthday and holiday gift giving. Super for employee recognition and appreciation awards.
Program Overview
Purchase Scrip cards from popular vendors (Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Borders, Shoprite, BedBath & Beyond, Peapod, Gap/Old Navy, Macy's, Ulta, etc.) through SSDS.
- Order online, paper form or email by the deadline.
- Cards arrive about 1 week later. You'll receive a notice that your order is ready.
- Pre-pay online or at school and pick up your Scrip cards at SSDS.
- SSDS earns a percentage from each card. (Percentage earned varies by vendor.)

How To Order
Online Orders
- Visit ShopWithScrip.com. Our SSDS code is BF25BA972268L.
- Register and select a password. You can select multiple organizations for your account.
- Shop vendors by alphabet or categories.
- See the card's front design and back details.
- Select denomination if choices are available. Select quantity desired.
- When finished, click on checkout.
- Drop off a check payable to SSDS-GMC for the total to the front office ATTN: Laurie Shapiro.
- You'll receive a notice that your order is ready.
- Orders under $500 will be sent home by Kiddie-Mail.
Orders $500 and above can be picked up in Laurie Shapiro's office.
Paper Orders
- A selection of vendors and denominations will be on an order form in the front office and downloadable here.
- Turn orders in to the front office with a check made out to SSDS-GMC by end of school on deadline.
- You'll receive a notice that your order is ready.
- Orders under $500 will be sent home by Kiddie-Mail.
Orders $500 and above can be picked up in Laurie Shapiro's office.
Email Orders
- Email Natalie Pont what Scrip you like, denominations and quantities, from the ShopWithScrip.com web site.
- Drop off payment to the front office (Checks made out to SSDS-GMC).
- You'll receive a notice that your order is ready.
- Orders under $500 will be sent home by Kiddie-Mail.
Orders $500 and above can be picked up in Laurie Shapiro's office.
