Dear Families,

 

We are pleased to announce that we will begin reviewing applications from new students after December 23, 2010, for the 2011-2012 school year at Solomon Schechter Day School. Due to increased interest, we are beginning our application process a little earlier this year. 

 

Enclosed you will find the application material for the new school year.  Please note that our admissions process requires an Application for Admission for each new student. If you need additional New Student Admission Packets, please contact the office. 

 



IMPORTANT PRIORITY AND CREDIT NOTES:

   1.   The PRIORITY RE-ENROLLMENT or APPLICATION privilege for current families ends on
December 23, 2010. After that date, we will begin to review applications from new families.
2.There is a $350 TUITION CREDIT, per student, UNTIL DECEMBER 23, 2010, for completed
applications into Grade 1, or into the Middle School, Grades 6, 7, or 8. This credit will be
applied to your final bill. Please Note: Families receiving Tuition Assistance are not eligible for
the early enrollment tuition credit.
3.The deposit required for each new student entering Nursery through Grade 8 is $850.
4.The deposit for families applying for Tuition Assistance is $350 per child, unless other
arrangements have been made.
IN ALL CASES THE DEPOSIT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL BILL.

 

Enclosed is the current year’s Tuition and Fees Schedule for Nursery-Grade 8. Please note that these rates are for reference only.  The 2011-2012 Tuition and Fees Schedule for all grades will be available when the Board of Trustees approves the rates. Once you apply and are accepted, you will receive a bill for the tuition less your deposit.  You will have the choice of paying in full (and receiving the full payment discount), or through the SMART Tuition Management program. 

 

To apply for the 2011-2012 school year, please complete and return the enclosed New Student Application Forms and the non-refundable deposit, made out to SSDS.
